The trip to North Bengal was one of the best planned and organized trips I've been a part of. There was a perfect blend of forest wilderness, lush green tea gardens, shady meadows and the mesmerising peaks of Kanchenjunga. The forest resort of Gorumara , the hill top cottages of Upper Paren augmented the experience manifolds. The arrangements were proper and we really didnt have to worry about anything so we could enjoy to the fullest. We have already planned our next trip with them and all we are concerned about is just packing our bags and waiting to enjoy.

The one thing that distinguishes Bagpackers from rest of the tour operators is their friendliness. They helped us plan the trip, suggest changes and even made alternate plans on our request.The moment I reached Malbazar Railway Station for my Doars trip with family and friends and walked into the Cab provided by Bagpackers I knew I could relax and enjoy the holidays I have planned for.Bagpackers have worked really hard and always made sure we were comfortable and happy with the arrangements made.I look forward to keeping the friendship alive and ask Bagpackers to plan my entire trip again and again.I wish the very best to Bagpackers !!! I went up to them with requirement of spending 2 nights in jungle and in hills in complete serenity. What they suggested me is one night in Kalipur followed by one night in Jhandi. And guess what, those are the places you would definitely want to visit time and again. Kalipur jungle was real fun. And the environment in Jhandi was filled with tranquility. The hospitality and generous reception that we received was upto the mark. Food quality and quantity was good. Bagpackers will compete head-to-head with any best in class service providers, but what actually distinguish them from rest is the fact that they will provide a guide (Uttam da) with you, who is genuinely humble and knows his job very well. Keep it up Bagpackers. Hope to see you soon.

We had a short trip to Jhandi a place which I was unaware of. I consulted with them laying out the requirement such as a serene place, cozy accommodation, bonfire and music....well it seems they suggested the right place. The accommodation they provided was amazing. The window looked over Kanchenjunga, the staffs were courteous and adequate in number even though it was Bhaiya Dooj....yes, the food quality and range was not up to the mark but expecting a wide platter is foolish in such a remote area...The bonfire was very comforting but few barbecues would have made it complete but nonetheless the chicken pakodas they served were good enough. Last but not the least, Uttam da the driver who took us there. He is an excellent guide and a very cool person. Overall it was a smooth trip to Jhandi with lots of good memories to cherish. Good job Backpackers...I look forward to another trip in near future...just keep the price as reasonable as it was for Jhandi.
